The Quiet Watcher

I have always been drawn to owls. There is something about the way they sit in silence, watching and listening, that feels both mysterious and wise. They seem to notice what others miss and move through darkness with an instinctive sense of direction.

In The Quiet Watcher, I wanted the eyes to hold that sense of awareness. The softer, more abstract marks surrounding the owl contrast with its steady gaze, creating a feeling of stillness within movement. For me, this piece is about intuition, quiet observation, and trusting that sometimes we can find our way simply by becoming still enough to listen.
