Meet the artist

Trina Johnson is a Regina-based artist whose creative journey began in the Okanagan. Her early work in pencil and charcoal evolved into commemorative art, including etching black granite.

 

In 2007, she returned to fine art, working in oils, acrylics, and watercolours across styles ranging from abstract to realism. Inspired by nature, emotion, and resilience, Trina’s work often features animals and imagined landscapes with symbolic meaning. Her paintings have been collected throughout Saskatchewan and neighbouring provinces.

 

A proud member of the Prairie Artists Guild (PAG), she regularly participates in spring and fall art shows.
