A Quiet Knowing

I have always loved birds, but owls intrigue me in a different way. They are quiet listeners, able to navigate the darkness with an awareness that feels almost mysterious.

Sitting outside around an open fire, I sometimes hear that faint question drifting through the night, who? There is something haunting and beautiful about it.

For me, owls are a poetic symbol of finding your way through uncertainty. I have always carried a fear of becoming physically lost. I am not sure where that fear began, but it feels woven into the way I move through the world.

Perhaps that is why I am drawn to these wise and powerful birds. A Quiet Knowing is about trusting that even when the path ahead is unclear, there is something within us that can become still, listen, and somehow find the way.
